Can't Beat The Yellow Light...
Let me tell you how it all started....
I was ecstatic yesterday to have at last given myself the time of day to actually go to the gameshop to get my copy of "Lost Planet 2". Another random guy was buying it as well, except he was asking for the Xbox version, that's when I started to snicker and point at the infamous "red ring of death" and how much of an Xbox fanboy he is. You know, I was just having a bit of fun (since I'm a Sony fanatic xD )and the guy took it like a sport.
So anyways, I go back home, prepared the popcorn and cheetos, punched my bro for taking my seat, tore the plastic cover from the game cover, threw the game cover somewhere, and finally turned ON my PS3, and...........
*BEEPBEEEBEEEBEEP*
I blinked. My PS3 had just turned off on its own. It flashed from Red to Yellow to Red back again. Ok, maybe there is something wrong with the supply plug, so I changed it to the other supply plug and got mini-electrocuted for jamming a pen inside, but that's besides the point. I go sit again, turned on my PS3...again, and.......
*BEEPBEEEBEEEBEEP*
That's when I went into full-berserk-mode and started cussing like a sailor looking for a Prozac. Apparently, as I came to find out, my good ol' PS3 had been infected with its very own "Yellow Light of Death"....similar to the Xbox's RROD.
Yeah yeah...laugh as you may...my blood has already boiled over a thousand times; I might as well have been a dormant volcano (-_-)
I have always thought of the "yellow light of death" as a myth fabricated by Xbox fanboys. I've heard the horror stories online but never ever had anyone I knew that actually had it happen to them. I was somewhat like an ostrich, as long as I don't see it then it doesn't exist!
Anyways, I went today to the vendor that sold me the PS3 in the first place - albeit 4 years ago - and said that he can get it fixed within a week. What hurt me more is the fact that not only will I stay game-less for a week but I have to pay an extra 200 bucks just to get it fixed. Oh yeah, the guy also told me that the YLOD might come back someday to haunt me again, since fixing it will only prolong it's inevitable 'death'....he tells me this after I payed the hefty amount with shaking hands and (now) empty wallet.
Now...all I can do now is wait....even though patience is not my forte.
Yup...waiting...
Still...waiting...
Waiting.....

To sigh in autumn....
Don't even ask me where I heard this mumbo jumbo from.
I think sighing is a good thing. It just helps express what's really in you...The obscure psychology of us.
Though I think, in my case, its because it's just autumn. Autumn brings a calming feeling into me. I feel this is the time where you let everything that you withstood and held all year long, all out. An expressive way of letting go and expecting a new and fresh start.
My way of doing that is through sighing...apparently.
Today while I was reading "The I Ching" I came across this passage:
"While there is no state of peace that is not liable to be disturbed, and no departure of evil men that will not be followed by their return, yet when one is firm and correct, and accepts that disorder may occur, one will commit no error. There is no occasion for sadness at the certainity of such recurring changes; and in this mood the happiness of the present may be long enjoyed."
It's funny that I read that as soon as "my moment of change" was dawning upon me. Accepting bad fortune so naturally isn't a walk in the park, but if you believe that something good will jump out at you unbeknownstly then you could at least savour that significant and malleable moment and muster whatever inner strength you have to take you onwards to success.
Thus the moral of today's journal is:
Autumn is a great way to enjoy tranquility. And sighing is a bliss (to everyone except those mumbo jumbo people...)
So there you go.
As for now, I'll go dance and sigh with the falling leaves.
No need to feel self-conscious. Sheesh.
No one will know it's me anyways...I think...

Herushingu...don't leave DollFishu.... TT-TT
*sigh* After 10+ years of unending plot twists in short-paged chapters, an insane number of mad enemies threatening the Queen, and Dracula's name spelled backwards.
It's all over. Over with a snap of a finger. Over like melted butter on burnt toast. Over for good. Over forever. Over for all eternity...
And, here it comes.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My only hope is for it to be an epic last chapter. Hellsing deserves to end epic-ly.
It does...it does...
Oh well, there's always The Dawn, plus Mr. Walter Cumm Ddollneazz is veeeeery easy on the eyes, my eyes in particular *gigglesnort*
*GASP* But if Hellsing is ending now...that means One Piece will follow...then Naruto...then Bleach...then...

Games, Games, and More Games
To commemorate my acknowledgment on finally giving up on my lovely PlayStation One and finally moving over to my new sparkle of sunshine, my...
*booming voice sounding out of nowhere*
...................... P L A Y S T A T I O N 3 ©
I decided I'd jot down a few of my all time favorite PSone games that truly and magnifcently made me gape with awe at (mainly) hot spikey haired hotties with shiny swords and colorful, bright magic attacks fighting for their puny pixelized lives in turn based battles...while drooling and catching aimlessly flying flies near my 'trap of doom' in the process...
If you think about it every game has its own special lesson to learn. Though the games that had the most impact on me where most probably this list that I hope won't bore you to death...and if does bore you to death then...
....................... GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE!!!!!
........................... (I LUV JAMES CAAN!!!!!!)
Ahem...like yeaaaaaaah on with the show...but first...a warning:
WARNING:
The following blog entry is not suitable for fidgety buggers that have no appreciation whatsoever of an adorable blogger (*points* MEEEEE!!!!) that has the sudden urge to blurt out whatever her bananas of a brain wants to blurt out at various obscure points of time....much like the inappropriate urge to surrender to mother nature right at this moment of time >_<
Xenogears
This game is so controversial that you will hardly find enough, if any, copies that are within the price range of a normal RPG game. It tackles topics that range from sex and drugs to religion in addition to how the characters deal with that mayhem. This is a really good game and I find that only people with open minds must play it. A friend of mine broke her disc in half after she couldn't take any more of its intense philosophical and religious innuendos. I find this better than its prequel "Xenosaga" even though it also tackles the same subjects yet with better graphics.
Metal Gear Solid
This is one of the most ingenious games to ever be created on a game console. Even though this game talks mostly about politics and nuclear weapons and the like, it still dwells on how a person finds himself in situations where he has to go ahead and not look back. This would extremely be difficult if you have no idea on who and what you are in the first place...and this is where the genetics part of the game kicks in. Genes, memes, betrayals, and genetic engineering mind-boggled me to no ends...but always in a good way of course =D
Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare
This installment did make me think and ponder about how human intent can be vicious and unrelenting and very twisted at its pursuit of power even to the extent of causing unimaginable harm to everyone around them whether it's to a family member or a complete stranger. Great game IMO, FYI.
The "Silent Hill" Series
This game explores how depraved minds and lost souls seek a way out from their so-called 'purgatory' and you get to go along for the ride and face those fears with the character. This game effectively taps into your primal fears at every nook n' cranny to the point you won't even have time for a single sigh of relief. I suggest you open your lights when you play...though that won't do any good in most cases XD
Breath of Fire IV
This is a great RPG game IMO and has amazed me to no ends. The fourth installment is the first one I played before the rest of the series, and the only downside is it was way too short. This game has some religious allusions and talks about gods and men and how this certain god wants to destroy the world he created because he found that humans and humanity, in general, are immoral, evil, and corrupt. Actually when I played the game, I found myself leaning to his side. But it still kept me wondering and thinking as to who is the good and bad guy and who really deserves to be punished; a god or a man?
Wild Arms 2nd Ignition
This game has a special place in my heart since it was my first RPG. Even though there is not much to learn from it I found that the theme that mostly struck a nerve was that of heroism and heroes and how heroes don't necessarily like to be in that postion since everyone expects them to die in order to save the world and everyone in it. I honestly never thought about heroes in this way and it made me contemplate on whether the main character wanted to be a hero in the end or not.
Wow, that was a great trip down memory lane...I feel so nostalgic *dries eyes*
Despite the fact, that I bought my precious PS3 a year ago (and never touched it since), I think its high time that I actually play on the damn thing instead of it gathering more dust than my legion of collectible Transformers and trolls.
Yeah I like trolls... u gotta problem wit dat punk biatch?! FEAR MY L33T POWERS!!!!
There are lots of games right now that will attract innocent fangirls like me to tall, hot, sweaty male game bishounen (for some lame reason I'm only picturing Nero from DMC4 at this moment...don't ask why...) that will await a fate worse than death in Mary-Sue inspired fanfic plots that will be created by yours truly...sometime in the far future.
*grins evilly* Oooooh, the horror of it all...

*insert drumroll* Ladies and Gentlemen...Livejournal is BLOCKED!!123!!1# @o@
What a great way to start my effing day, ay?
So....Livejournal is blocked....
My friends are blocked....
My interests are blocked....
My fanfics are blocked....
My sanity is blocked....
No worries.
I am calm.
Still calm.
...
..
.
Okay, enough calming. I mean, what else can you expect from over zealous (censored) pompous (censored) that keep on taking every single (censored) cherished moment of actually living a normal (censored) life and not expect us to be mentally (censored) retarded because of their (censored) opression?! THIS IS A (CENSORED) SETBACK! WHAT THE (CENSORED) AM I SUPPOSED TO DO NOW WITH MY (CENSORED) LIFE AND TIME, DO I HAVE TO GO LEARN JAPANESE OR SOMETHING?!!!
(CENSORED!!!!!)
.................................................
Okay.
I feel a little bit better.
Especially after it seems I cracked my neck.
I am going to the doctor now...and will be sending my medical bill to the lovely Etisalat.
I'm sure they had nothing to do with this since I can see their cute little angel robes and nice shiny angel halos over their teeny tiny (crushable) heads of theirs.
.......
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
There's no need to visualize that...just nod your head in agreement.
I am starting to think that if I eat my vegetables, brush my teeth, lay off the candies, and sleep early, Etisalat might show some mercy upon its insipid and helpless users.
Can anyone really believe that?
So, "U.A.E users without Livejournal-ish goodness" or "UAEUWLG", that's my word of advice.
I will meet all of you in the overbearing realms of perpetual darkness and mayhem.
Adieu.
............
P.S. It seems I did make use of my un-Lifejournal-ish day of mine by *gasp* learning some Japanese.
Ahem, here goes nothing (or possibly something):
"I TOTEMO ZOUO Etisalat!! KARERA NO MONO NO TOTEMO KOKORO NO CHOUSA SOSHITE BYOUKI NO SEISHIN BUNSEKI NO INTAANETTO TATAKAI TO NO SORERA HA SEIKOU JISHIN SAIGEN NAKU IKU YOU NI!
SEIKOUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!! "
Bet you can't guess what that means right?
RIGHT?
